sophie bridges is a writer and podcast producer. she spent five years making narrative podcasts with pineapple street studios, where her work was nominated for a peabody and won an edward r. murrow award.

recently, she’s been producing shell game, an independent project from journalist evan ratliff about voice, artificial intelligence, and what it will feel like to live in a world where most of what we hear is not real.

sophie is interested in telling two kinds of stories: sweeping investigative work that topples the state and leads directly to the cancellation of the 2028 olympics, and quiet personal narratives with no discernable beginning, middle, or end.
